Where can you go in the Riviera Maya that offers you absolutely everything? A bustling and lively night life, unique shopping, entertainment,  a multitude of restaurants, and proximity to history and local culture, all while staying on the most beautiful white, sandy beach? The answer is Playa del Carmen in the Riviera Maya!

Parallel to the beach in downtown Playa, you’ll find the astonishing 4 mile long pedestrian walkway of Quinta Avenida – 5th Avenue – which is lined with shops, art galleries, restaurants, bars, and clubs, making it a popular nightlife spot. In addition to street performers and entertainment, you’ll find some hidden gems, such as Mayan vestiges and even a freshwater cenote! While there’s no shortage of fantastic dining options along Fifth Avenue—including upscale and international cuisine some of the more authentic options are scattered on the surrounding side streets.

Playa del Carmen offers fun, sights & sounds. But when you’re ready for some peace and relaxation, you want to be at Vive El Sueño!

Eight minutes from 5th Ave,  this 3 +1 bedroom condo is perfect for large groups of up to 10 people. Located within the Corasol Complex, in the Mareazul Condominiums, you will find all the benefits of condo living, situated in a resort style setting.  This double-gated community offers everything:  a virtually private beach, the largest pool in the area, and exactly the sort of amenities you’re looking for on vacation.

In the centre of the complex, steps from your verandah, is our incredible pool. Beautifully maintained, the crystal blue waters that span over half of the complex, call to you each morning and you offer you a plethora of choices: will you enjoy your day under the numerous pergolas, or in one of the shaded beds? Looking out over the water you will see picturesque bridges, water features, water beds, and central platforms; where will you spend your day while you sit and take it all in?

An even more difficult choice will be whether to sit by the pool, or to relax on our white, sandy beach. This beach is the envy of all Playa. Given its location, it is practically private to our residents. We have our own loungers and umbrellas, laid out for you – exactly where you want them – by our helpful beach staff. You only need to show them where, and they will set it all up for you! Unlike the beaches in downtown Playa, there are no crowds blocking your view, no vendors asking you to purchase their wares, no bodies at all, in fact, between you and the blue water.

But it’s not always about relaxation, is it? Sometimes you want a little activity. This stretch of beach is well known for the perfect breeze that blows – enough to cool you and yet also enough for kitesurfing! Right next to our beach you will find an unassuming beach club that houses a kitesurfing school. Playa Boardsports, one of the best in the region, offers rentals of both kitesurfing equipment and paddleboarding, too. There amazing instructors can teach you how, or you can just get out there on your own! And when you’re done, Marena Beach Club is also the place to get a beachside massage!

If you have little ones with you, the beach is quiet enough to bring you peace of mind, offering clear lines of site and a shallow walk into the water. And when they’re tired of the beach, you can take them to the well-equipped play area beside the pool where you will find a climbing structure, slide, swings, a see-saw, and even a netted trampoline!

Away from the water are other onsite activities like tennis, pickleball, golf, and a fully equipped gym. Everything you need to strike the perfect balance in your time away! There’s even a spa for massage and aesthetics.

All of this is bound to make you hungry and, if you don’t feel like making yourself a bite to eat in our fully equipped kitchen then you can head to Faro Azul, our beachside restaurant that offers an extensive menu – both breakfast and lunch – and wonderful cocktails. Situated between the pool and the beach, the scenery is astounding. Then in the evening, you don’t need to walk more than a few metres to get to Punta Azul, the central restaurant of the complex which also offers an amazing array of options for dinner, from fish and seafood, to popular children’s choices, to a grill, and some seriously massive pizzas!

At the end of the day, when perhaps you'd like to head back to the condo but the kids don’t agree, you can strike the perfect compromise and enjoy time on your verandah while they continue to enjoy the water in your personal plunge pool. Eighty square metres of shallow fun for them, or a cool place for you to take a dip in between relaxing on the loungers, or swinging on the hammock, or after enjoying a bite to eat at the outdoor dining table.

And, when the day is done, retire to your beautifully appointed condo. Three full bedrooms – the master with a king sized bed, a second bedroom with two full beds, a third room with a queen bed and a single trundle underneath, and a forth option of a space with a single bed for helpers or for young children – all with ensuite bathrooms. If you choose to make your own dinner or, better yet, have one of our local chefs prepare you a meal, then you can settle together at the large hand-crafted dining table, and later gather in the comfortable living room and chat, play games, or watch a movie on the 55” television.

Vive El Sueño is cared for by Andrés and his team. Andrés is available to help you prepare for your arrival by offering a pre-arrival or mid-week grocery shop, access to tours, extra cleaning if you wish to add this, and he is on call to address any issues you may come across. Whatever it is you need or want, we’re here to make your vacation a memorable success.

Katherine’s place was fantastic! Walkable to beach and the local beach bar in the community. Bike to town is 10 min. Every bedroom has a full bathroom so no need to share for couples. Plus a half bath in the hallway for guests. 10/10 recommend!

The property is even more spectacular than the photos show! Right next to the pool and a few short steps to the beach. We spent 2 weeks as a family of 5 and had ample space and the perfect blend of things to do both on site and around the area. The guide that was left in the apartment was extremely thorough and appreciated as Katherine listed so many helpful tid bits. Can’t say enough good things about the property, Katherine and her teams support and the overall experience!

This has been the most incredible and neat beachfront place I’ve been ever! First, Katherine (host) is very responsive and friendly; she will definitely help you to get the best experience in your trip. Secondly, the place is very fancy and comfortable, with a private pool and all the amenities you may need at your stay. The beachfront feature added great value to our trip, it took us a 5 minute walk to get to beach (very beautiful and clean). The beachfront place is very private and secure, with a delicious restaurant (with room service) and good parking space. It was a 100 out of 10 experience. If I ever return to Playa del Carmen, I will definitely book my stay here again.

Katherine's home provides the best of all worlds in Playa Del Carmen - it felt like our very own private resort. It is truly unbelievable how well maintained the property is, with access to a pristine beachfront, multiple swimming pools, gyms, and tennis courts. Katherine could not have been more helpful, her check in process was flexible, and her creative app was a great reference to make sure you made the most of the time spent at her lovely home.

What an absolutely wonderful place for a family vacation! We stayed here with our two kids (3.5 and 1.5 years old), our nanny, and my two parents. The condo was plenty spacious for us. Everything is exactly as pictured or better. The pool is amazing - tons of options for the kids. The beach was equally delightful with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. We visited in late April, not during spring break, and it was very quiet and peaceful. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the food was all very good - enough so that we ate there multiple times during our stay. This condo is not easy walking distance to downtown, which we didnt want in the first place, but that might be something to consider if you want more diverse options for food and entertainment. Katherine is extremely communicative and provides a whole guide book to make your stay a breeze. Definitely the best airbnb experience we have had! We all left wondering when we would come back!

Really a great place to stay in Riviera Maya. We have been to many Airbnb or hotels but Vive El Sueno beats them. Easily reachable, spacious, modern, fully equipped and well maintained. We were 2 families with a total of 4 kids who had a lot of fun in the many pools and the beach area. We had breakfast and dinner in the local restaurants inside the condominium: food is nice and reasonably priced for the area. Having a car as we did helped a lot to go visit places of interest in the riviera but as well for dinner in Playa. Overall a very recommendable place. We will definitely come back.

Perfect place for our family! Each couple had their own space and since we were traveling with an infant and 2 year old, location of the unit on ground floor was perfect! We enjoyed the food at the restaurant, the massive pool and our plunge pool! We will be back!

This is our second time visiting Katherine's place. We returned as it has all we need to have a peaceful, private, easy layback vacation. A huge hit with the toddler!

I had the pleasure of staying at Katherine's Condo for a long weekend with friends (5 Adults, 1 Child). This is an absolutely perfect location for a relaxing, family friendly getaway. The private plunge pool was a huge hit with the toddler. On top of that you are mere steps away from the main pool and restaurant and a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. The property is impeccably maintained and felt very safe. All the staff around the property were beyond helpful and friendly. Katherine was super responsive to our questions and Andres (the property manager) was extremely helpful. Andres even stocked the apartment with groceries and drinks before we arrived (for a small fee). All in all this was a perfect getaway and I cannot wait to come back next year!

 

EVERYTHING, absolutely EVERYTHING is a 10/10!

Honestly Katherine's place, the service, the amenities, the cleanliness, the communication, EVERYTHING, absolutely EVERYTHING is a 10/10. The place is impossible to beat, everything is impeccable, and you feel at home. There's nothing left to chance, and Katherine is very attentive to her guests. The beds, the sheets, the towels, are top notch, as in a 5-star hotel. Not a single appliance is missing. Blender, dishwasher, toaster, anafe...they work great. The condominium pool of the most beautiful and largest I saw. With games for kids, and bars if you want to have a few drinks. Access to the beach is very close and the beach is private and very quiet, with lounge chairs available for guests. There is a Walmart 10 minutes away and there is food delivery if you don't want to cook. Thank you to Kathrine for making our vacation so enjoyable!!!!!!!!!!!!

there are not enough words to describe the gorgeous, clean, and easily accessible condo we stayed in. When I communicated to Katherine that I was coming in a wheelchair, not only did she take my wheelchair measurements to assure It would fit through the doors, but she also went above and beyond and got the Condo management to create a ramp so that I would have guaranteed access into the home. I am so grateful and will always stay at viva el sueño when In playa. I'd also like to comment on how easy it was to find everything and find places to explore. the beach in January was clean.. no seaweed and so gorgeous. in the condo everything was so clean and organized. the kitchen was perfect for our family to enjoy home-cooked authentic Mexican cuisine! it felt like home... this home was only steps from the biggest pool I've ever seen and one of the most breathtaking sceneries! 10/10 would recommend!!

The apartment is spectacular, it has everything you need, very nice and very well equipped. The beachfront location is amazing. The beach is very well cared for without algae or garbage and very good service for all comfort. Katherine and Andres were very attentive and quick to answer any questions. The complex where the apartment is located is very well cared for, the spectacular common areas and the two restaurants it has are very practical. We had an amazing family vacation, we would definitely come back!

Katherine was helpful from the very beginning. I needed to make changes to my travel plans, and she immediately sprinted to action confirming new dates and assisted me in making the change. My family stayed the week of Christmas, and it was a peaceful, pleasant stay. Everyone at the beach, condo and restaurant are so nice and helpful. We felt right at home. Anytime I reached out to Andres, he answered my questions quickly and made great suggestions. I highly recommend and will definitely reach out to Katherine the next time I visit the area.

Excelente lugar para vacacionar! Un excelente trato y muy seguro, las instalaciones estan muy bien equipadas y muy amplias, tanto en los departamentos como en las albercas! Los restaurantes estan excelentes tambien! Sin duda esperamos otras vacaciones para regresar! Katherine y Andrés fueron muy atentos y no se tardan en contestar! Nosotros hicimos una ceremonia maya y no batallamos para obtener los permisos de la administración con la ayuda de Andrés! Además, el chef Adrian nos ayudó para poder realizar la comida en el área de playa y la verdad estuvó buenisima la comida!

Es un resort con Excelentes instalaciones, muy bien ubicado a pasos de la 5ta avenida en playa del carmen, cuenta con playa a unos 100 pasos, y una alberca que sin duda los dejara maravillados. Es un lugar muy tranquilo, ideal para el descanso, con todas las comodidades que hacen que solo te enfoques en descansar y disfrutar de tus vacaciones. Hay un restaurante, servicios de spa y una barra que se encarga también de cubrir la necesidad de hidratación. El departamento cuenta con un mini alberca de unos 50 cms. de profundidad que lo rodea en el frontis y hace que no tengas de que preocuparte a la hora de que los niños quieran disfrutar de un chapuzón. Por último respecto a la atención y coordinacion un especial abrazo y agradecimiento a Andres por sus atenciones y cordialidad. Que si lo recomiendo, en un 100% sin dudas que volveremos!! Gracias katy

We had a great time in Katherine's unit! It's well equipped and clean, with everything you need to be comfortable. The check in process was easy and communication great. The complex the unit is in is beautiful and well kept, there are lots of nice palm trees and flowers as well as a huge beautiful pool and access right to the beach. we would absolutely stay there again!

Words can not even describe how magical this place really is. If you're looking for a beach front, with privacy and all the amenities you can possibly dream of...then this should is for you. We had an incredible stay. The pictures don't lie, it's everything we hoped for and more. We didn't even need to bring a stroller, high chair, or crib..... they had EVERYTHING. The concierge service is top of the line, easy to communicate via whattsup...fridge was fully stocked upon arrival with what we ordered. Unit itself is brand new, everything was top of the line. Felt like we were at a luxury resort....gorgeous beach! Pool and restaurant are steps away from the unit, so convenient. We traveled with 3 small kids and still had the best time!!! We've been doing all inclusive trips to Mexico for years and this time wanted a new experience and this by far exceeded our expectations. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
